WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT / ATA CREATIVE / INTERACTIVE 3D GAME
Far Out
A playful 3D space game that starts with a rush through the stars. Fly six sectors, fire colorful lasers, dodge asteroids and sentinel drones, and bring the lost signals home.

Context
Far Out is a self-initiated game built around the feeling of taking a little detour into space. I wanted this project to go beyond browsing a website: visitors arrive among the stars, meet their ship and launch straight into a playable 3D world.
My contribution
I developed the visual direction and built the browser experience through ATA Creative, from the WebGL planets and ship to the flight controls, combat, scoring, original synthesized soundtrack and responsive interface. The game supports mouse, keyboard and touch, with optional sound, flight assist and reduced-motion settings.
What the site brings together
An invitation to play
A star-rush arrival, a ship that follows your cursor and smooth, colorful planets introduce the world before you launch. Each of the six sectors has its own palette and destination.
A complete little game
Catch gates, recover signals and clear a path with twin lasers. Asteroids and attacking drones make each of your three ships count, with explosions, replacement ships, scoring and Game Over.
A mission worth keeping
Finish the flight to reveal six snapshots from the 3D worlds and download a mission patch. Personal records stay in the browser; sound controls, pause and flight assist let visitors play at their own pace.
