WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT / ASHLEY & LAINE / DIGITAL INVITATION
The Digital Invitation
The invitation we sent to our guests. Open the sage envelope to reveal illustrated stationery, weekend details and the guest reply form.
Context
This is the separate digital invitation we sent to our wedding guests. I wanted receiving it to feel personal, while making the event information and reply easy to find.
My contribution
I designed and built the interactive invitation, combining the opening sage envelope, shell seal, illustrated invitation and decorative details in a responsive page. The invitation also includes weekend information and a guest reply form, with a link to the full wedding website.
What the site brings together
Open the envelope
A sealed sage envelope introduces the invitation. Tapping the shell seal reveals the illustrated wedding stationery.
The celebration in one place
The invitation continues into weekend details, personal photographs and the guest RSVP form.
Made for our guests
Desktop and phone layouts keep the invitation easy to open from an email, with a direct route to the main wedding website for more information.
